I got a message from 'Kill your Darlings.' Like Jim Marcotte, they had reached out through the internet because they liked the idea of playing a song in a tinyboat! I liked them right off the bat because the phrase 'Kill your Darlings' is a classic bit of writing advice that's stood the test of time. I appreciated that Chris and Alice felt like it was also a great name for a band! We met on a particularly sunny day, and I found a perfect spot in Union Bay to set up some duets with Chris on a bridge and among the foliage. They were beautiful! -Jordan and Clarabelle
