Chchulain
I know Cuchulain through John Craigie. He lives down in Oregon but had made his way up to Seattle to do some shows, also I think his wife had a meeting or two. We met in Lake Union and he brought his pooch, a good boat sized canine and well behaved fella with curly black hair named ‘Willy Dog Nelson’. I’d done a lot of tinyboatsessions in Lake Union recently because I was still sorting out the minor inconveniences stemming from a stolen van and trailer. I like to vary up the backgrounds and fortunately Lake Union is a very interesting place with a lot to offer for backgrounds.
It was a hot day and we were thankful to find some shade down by the old ships at Northwest Seaport. The float plane bases were busy and he sang between the rumble of their motors as they took off towards parts unknown… but probably north to the San Juan Islands and Canada.
Cuchulain has a deep baritone and his songs were whimsical and fun, or whimsical and biting and when we wanted a different background I found some shade between the hulls of the Victoria Clipper catamaran. Instagram: @cuchulainmusic
